Tottenham left-back Ben Davies has signed a new four-year deal with the club.
The Wales international, who joined from Swansea for £10m in 2014, saw his previous deal expire in two years' time.
But the 23-year-old has been rewarded after showing improvement during a recent run of games in place of the injured Danny Rose.
"It's a fantastic club to be a part of at the moment and, with the way we are working on the training pitch and playing in games, I can only see it getting better," he said.
"If you'd have said this before start of my career, I probably would have been in shock and not believed it.
"But I've said before: since the gaffer has come to the club, he has taken us from strength to strength and, as a team, I think it's shown on the pitch."
Davies began his career as a Swansea trainee before his move to Spurs, for whom he has made 78 appearances.
Davies is understood to have switched agents late last year from HN Sports to the high-profile Stellar Group.
