AFCON 2017: Eagles starting 11 against Tanzania

FC Taraba skipper Usman Mohammed would have started Saturday's AFCON qualifier ahead of Ukraine-based Lukman Haruna, but for his tentative display in the Eagles last friendly against Abuja Football College.

A top official told AfricanFootball.com: "Usman will now start from the bench against Tanzania because he did not follow the tactics during the team's last friendly.
"Lukman Haruna will now be the attacking midfielder, playing behind the top striker, in this case Emmanuel Emenike."
Otherwise, the squad has picked itself with Warri Wolves ace Solomon Kwambe at rightback in place of the injured Germany-based Leon Balogun.
Gent of Belgium winger Moses Simon will start from left side of attack with skipper Ahmed Musa on the right side.
Wolves of England goalkeeper Carl Ikeme will make his debut in the absence of bereaved Vincent Enyeama alongside Russia-based defensive midfielder Izunna Uzochukwu.
Kick-off time is 2.30pm Nigerian time.
