Tottenham Hotspur are on the verge of beating Arsenal for the signature of Borussia Dortmund's forward, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.
According to the Metro website, Spurs are looking at a deal to sign the Gabonese skipper from the Bundesliga giants.
After signing Saido Berahino from West Brom for a whopping 15million deal, Spurs are keen on adding the African international ahead of the transfer window deadline.
However, things aren't stopping there, with the Daily Mail reporting Tottenham are now lining up a deal to sign Dortmund's ace with the German giants insisting that Aubameyang is staying put.
Meanwhile, Arsenal have also made an offer worth about £28million for the player, but a bid of about £33.6m is seen as the one to entice the Bundesliga side to be tempted into selling.
In the past few weeks, this website previously reported that the Gunners had a £28.7 million initial bid rejected by the Bundesliga giants, but Arsene Wnger's bosses were said to be preparing an improved £30 million on the Gabon international.
