Ghana striker Jordan Ayew has completed his move to English Premier League side Aston Villa after agreeing a five-year deal on Monday (27, July)
The 23-year-old forward moves to Villa Park from French side Lorient for an undisclosed fee, the club confirmed on its official website.
He completed his medical at Bodymoor Heath this morning before meeting his new team-mates for the first time.
The Ghana international has been signed to replace Christian Benteke who was sold to Liverpool last week.
Ayew will be seeking to partner former Ligue 1 players Jordan Amavi and Idrissa Gueye who were snapped up this transfer windwo.
Villa manager Tim Sherwood said: "I'm really pleased to bring Jordan to the football club.
"He is a fantastic young player who is perfectly suited to the Premier League."
