Supper Eagles head coach, Sunday Oliseh was at the Wembley stadium on Sunday (Aug 2) to watch Victor Moses, Mikel Obj and Alex Iwobi in action. Oliseh revealed via his twitter handle that he was at Wembley with one of his assistants, Losciuto and Nigeria Football Federation boss Amaju Pinnick. "At Wembley to see Chelsea v Arsenal. Hoping to see super Eagles Moses and Mikel play. With FA boss Pinnick and Losciuto" he wrote. Only Moses who played for Chelsea and Iwobi were involved on the pitch but Oliseh eventually had a meeting with the players where he outlined his plans for the senior national team and what he expected from the players. (According to complete sports). Interestingly, the trio fall among the very few players who play first division football in a top league in Europe. Oliseh had warned during his unveiling that only players who play in the first division in some of the top leagues in Europe would invited to camp for subsequent games of the team starting with next month's 2017 AFCON qualifier against Tanzania. |
