Ghana midfielder Muniru Sulley scored an outstanding maiden goal for Romanian giants Steaua Bucharest on Wednesday night to steer them to the third qualifying round of the UEFA Champions League.
The strike from 20 metres cuts a striking resemblance of the several long-range goals his elder brother Sulley Muntari has scored in his career for both Ghana and other teams in Europe.
Although the Romanian side lost 3-2 during Wednesday's, Steaua qualified for the third qualifying round after the 4-3 overall win over Slovak side Trencin.
Interestingly Sulley scored the first goal of his Steaua career in this game and his screaming strike was memorable.
His fabulous scored the goal with a powerful shot from 25 meters which capped an important game in his career in Europe.
Steaua qualified to play Serbian giants in the next round Partizan but were grateful for the 2-0 lead they began with from the first leg in Slovakia.
Indeed, within 21 minutes the tie was level as Wesley and Matus Bero scored for the visitors.
Sulley put Steaua back ahead in the tie on 57 minutes and on the hour mark Gregory Tade seemed to have clinched it with a penalty, especially after Milan Rundi's red card.
But six minutes from the end Wesley scored again to so nearly turn the table for Trenín.
